I just got off a call with one of my favorite clients. They are very smart and always thinking big.

This week, they came to me with a new idea they had and wanted to see what my thoughts were and if it could work.

Summary:

They currently have two systems with data in it. They currently have employees looking up information in one system and transfering it over to the other. They wanted to know if we could link these systems so they could stay in one system and transfer data to the other.

The answer: YES!

This is one of the areas where I see the biggest wins with clients. You have one software system that works fairly well to run part of your business. BUT, you have some other unique things that don’t fit into your software. How do you keep these organized? Track changes? Make sure everyone has access to the most recent changes? Spreadsheets?
